EN--JOY Enjoy Designs arose from my name's initials EN plus Joy; thewaytorite was an improvisation. I was trying to get thewriteway for my email, it was already taken. Then I tried thewaytowrite, it was taken too. I decided to drop the w, thewaytorite. Nobody has it. And I kind of like it. Doing art is performing rituals like a prayer - RITING to write stories, songs, poems in calligraphy. Left: Gypsy Legs is a quilt by Marcia Stein. Posted with permission. My interpretation --legs going for a walk, ready for bewilderment, ready to be wild again, beguiled again. Calligraphers need focused hands and eyes but I believe they need gypsy legs for adventure and fun, on the way to rite, write, make encounters right. |

Sherry Lovler calligraphed my name in the Annual General Meeting 2001. I forgot about this sign until we moved into a new office. An office colleague found this sign on top of the upper drawers.
Upper Right : Melissa Titone wrote my name on the envelope; she sent me a gift-- a Peace calendar and the Letter of Agreement plus the W-9 needed to teach at Fort Mason. I saved the enveloped and scanned my name. Using Freehand I placed "Awakening the Beginner's Mind".
NOTE: Once in a blue moon, Enjoy Designs accepts clients for work or commission or a project when she chooses to do so. The Imagineer creates letters for her personal enjoyment , fun and artistic grace of her soul. I'm glad I kept on going with the Fort Mason website even when the task was overwhelming because of the complexity of skills needed to set up the site. Most personal websites are static because one needs to pay an expert to update even a link. If you don't know how to update or edit your website, you're held captive to exorbitant fees. Now, I can create, edit, update pages without depending on an expert website designer.

Joyful Holiday & Christmas greetings received from Jerry Lehman
